Introduce your toddler to all things creepy, crawly and squirmy. Little Scientist is a fun and educational way to spend time outdoors in Lillie Park. We will explore Turtle Pond, the woods, and learn about reptiles and amphibians, as well as bugs and worms.

For children ages 2-4 years old. Younger siblings/babies in arms are welcome.

Helpful Hints

The class will be held in Lillie Park and will be outside the entire time. Please bring:

• Bug repellent
• Sunscreen
• Hats
• Water/beverage
• Water boots 

Please enter in the South entrance to the park off of Platt Road, and the class will meet in the pavillion leading into the woods, just past the playground. Park at the back of the lot.

We offer a twin or sibling discount of 25% off the session fee for the second child. Babies in carriers are welcome, though the class is not stroller accessible. Please contact the office if you are registering more than one child in your family.

Inclement Weather Policy: Outdoor Classes

Classes will be canceled due to thunderstorms with lightning, as well as severe storm warnings or tornado warnings. Otherwise, class will proceed rain or shine.

If an outdoor class is canceled, we will appropriately extend the number of classes in that current series to accommodate the missed class(es). If we are unable to extend the series, you will be provided a credit for the canceled class which can be applied to your account for your next class registration.
