Pregnant women and their partners have an opportunity to attend childbirth classes in a shortened, condensed format. Our two-class series (offered in a two week format or Friday evening-Saturday morning format) or three-week format (offered in Chelsea) covers several topics, including the various stages of labor, an introduction to relaxation and breathing techniques, comfort measures and positions for labor and delivery, pain management options, cesarean birth, and early postpartum.

It is important to schedule the series so it ends at least three or four weeks before the baby is due.
